New Moon in Scorpio: Sacred Fire Circle Ritual for Declaration of Peace

This New Moon is guided by Mars, with the Sun-Moon in Scorpio and the North Node of the Moon in Aries, exactly conjunct with Asteroid Eris. Scorpio and Aries are both ruled by Mars. Eris is the goddess of strife and discord in Greek mythology. She is the daughter of Zeus (Jupiter) and Hera (Juno), and the sister of Ares (Mars). Additionally, we have Asteroid Harmonia in Scorpio, alongside the New Moon. Harmonia represents the opposite energy of Eris, as the goddess of harmony and concord. She is the daughter of Ares and Aphrodite (Venus). While Eris and Harmonia possess contrasting energies, I believe they symbolize opposite ends of the same spectrum. They represent Yin and Yang, two sides of the same coin.

Asteroid Eris and Asteroid Harmonia embody opposing forces in the cosmic realm. Eris, as the goddess of discord, represents chaos and disruption, while Harmonia, the goddess of harmony, embodies peace and unity. These celestial bodies serve as cosmic metaphors, reminding us of the eternal struggle between chaos and order, conflict and peace. In my mind, Eris and Harmonia constantly influence the balance of our collective consciousness, shaping the destiny of our society.

According to Greek mythology, both goddesses are associated with unfortunate wedding tales. Eris, who was not invited to the wedding of Peleus and Thetis, as an act of revenge by throwing the infamous "golden apple of discord" into the celebration. As for Harmonia, on her wedding day, received a cursed necklace from Cadmus, which had been passed down from either Hephaestus or Europa. This necklace, commonly known as the necklace of Harmonia, brought misfortune to all her family.

Is it possible that these goddesses of misfortune still linger in our collective consciousness, contributing to the ongoing turmoil in our lives? Is there an unavoidable sense of misfortune, regardless of which side we find ourselves on, that prevents us from achieving peace on earth? However, I had a revelation! What if we each imagine a union of these opposing forces and envision a joyous union in our minds, transforming these unfortunate tales into happy endings? I understand that achieving peace on earth is a grand aspiration, but isn't that what we all want? And this grand aspiration begins with each one of us!
