Tie Guan Yin Oolong Tea, Elderberry, Orange Peel, Vanilla Bean

In 2024, we'll commence with a New Moon in Capricorn and conclude with a Capricorn New Moon. Additionally, two rare Capricorn Full Moons at 1º and 29º, forming a Blue Moon, will shape the overarching energies of the year. Capricorn Moon, characterized by seriousness and hard work, encourages setting and achieving higher goals. However, it's essential to be mindful of potential drawbacks such as being too critical or overbearing. Most of all, there’s a notion of things are not worth it, if you don’t work hard for. As for manifestation practice, this could get in the way of manifesting. The Capricorn Moon can be too manipulative and want to control the outcome too much. So we may need to be mindful of not being overly controlling and allow things to unfold naturally.

This is a year-long shamanic journey where we will beat our own drums to find personal truths. We will set an intention on the New Moon, January 11, and check in on two full Moons. The first full Moon on ****Jun 22 in 1º Capricorn ****will be for receiving the outcome, and the second one on Jul 21 in 29º Capricorn ****will be for waning down our energy. Finally, we will set a new intention on the last New Moon of the year on Dec 30 in 9º Capricorn, preparing for the upcoming year of 2025.

Let's delve into the 'Goddess Divination Tea - Heka-Tea | Capricorn Moon.' Inspired by the dominating Capricorn Moon and the Moon Goddess Hekate, known for her connection to the Dark Moon, this tea is a tribute to their energies.

As I connect with the Moon's energy, the Goddess of the Tea, Guanyin, the Chinese Iron Goddess of Mercy, came forward for Capricorn. So, I have chosen the Tie Guan Yin Oolong Tea, infused with the mystical essence of Elderberry as a tribute to the Goddess Hekate. Allow the wisdom of Elderberry to guide you as you navigate the serious and hardworking nature of Capricorn.

Additionally, I have included Orange Peel to align with the vibrant energy of the Full Moon in Leo. This infusion adds a burst of vitality and creativity, enhancing empowerment and expressiveness.

To bring these diverse energies together in harmony, I have introduced Vanilla Bean to honor Cancer, the Moon's home, for the New Moon between the Capricorn Full Moons. Like a cosmic conductor orchestrating a symphony, Vanilla Bean blends seamlessly with the other flavors, enveloping your senses with each sip.

Goddess Divination Tea - Heka-Tea | Capricorn Moon Recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 1 part Tie Guan Yin Oolong Tea

  • 2 parts Elderberry

  • 1 part Orange Peel

  • Generous amount of Vanilla Bean Powder

Instructions:

  1. Measure Ingredients:

    • For a single serving, measure one part Tie Guan Yin Oolong Tea, two parts Elderberry, and one part Orange Peel.

  2. Combine Ingredients:

    • In a tea infuser, teabag or teapot, combine the measured Tie Guan Yin Oolong Tea, Elderberry, and Orange Peel.

  3. Add Vanilla Bean Powder:

    • Grind or scoop a generous amount of Vanilla Bean Powder into the mix. Adjust the quantity based on your preference for a delightful vanilla essence.

  4. Boil Water:

    • Bring fresh water to a boil. For optimal flavor extraction, use water at around 185°F (85°C).

  5. Infuse Tea:

    • Place the tea blend in your teapot or cup. Pour the boiled water over the ingredients.

  6. Set Timer:

    • Set a timer for 10 minutes. This allows the flavors to fully infuse, creating a harmonious blend.

  7. Close Your Eyes and Breathe:
